Bangalore, Sept 21: The BJP's Karnataka unit today said that the party would abide by the decision taken by the all party meeting held in New Delhi on the Cauvery crisis.
"We will abide by the all party meeting decision. We (the state) will speak in one voice,” senior BJP leader Yediyurappa told reporters here. He demanded that the emergent legislature session convened by the state government from september 24, to discuss the Cauvery issue, debate the drought situation also. Yediyurappa accused the S M Krishna government of being 'indifferent and irresponsible' towards the drought situation, saying that the promised relief works had not begun on a war footing as the situation demanded.
He said that there was a severe shortage of fodder but the government had not bothered to take steps to address the problem.
