Ranchi, Feb 04: The Jharkhand Vananchal Congress(JVC), a constituent of the ruling NDA in the state, announced its disassociation from the ruling alliance.

Announcing the decision JVC president and former science and technology minister Samresh Singh told newspersons that it was not possible to support a ''corrupt'' government.
Singh alleged that developmental work had come to a grinding halt.
He has already written a letter to the speaker to allot a separate seat to the party. Singh is the lone JVC MLA in the 82-member house. With his disassociation the strength of NDA has reduced to 42.
Singh also claimed that he had the support of 15 ministers and he would get a clear picture on February 5.
