Ranchi, Apr 20: Three BJP workers were injured in a bomb explosion in Giridih district of Jharkhand where three landmines were recovered, hours before polling for Lok Sabha elections commenced in the state today. The bomb went of at Hariharpur area late last night,Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar said adding that ''prima facie it looks like poll-related violence''. Police also recovered two landmines at Narainpur in the same district. Earlier, a possible major tragedy was averted when police detected and defused a 50 kg time bomb planted in a road bridge on Jamua river.
