Paramhans suffers heart attack
Faizabad, July 06: Architect of Ramjanmabhoomi movement Mahant Paramhans Ramchandra Dass today suffered a heart attack, the second in less than a month, and was being flown to a hospital in Lucknow.

The Mahant, in his 90s, suffered the attack at his ashram in Ayodhya in the wee hours and was rushed to a local heart care centre, Sharad Sharma, VHP media incharge, told
reporters.
A team of doctors attending on the Mahant said, "He is under observation".
Paramhans is being flown to Lucknow by a special aircraft for treatment at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute, where he was admitted after he had suffered a heart attack on June 12. The Mahant remained in the hospital for about a fortnight. Earlier a team of heart specialists was brought here from Lucknow to attend on him.
