"Vikas turned me into an orphan as my father and my sister Sanah would spend their entire time with Alia. And because I come from a family of actors, they get into the character pretty seriously, so I was ignored a lot on the sets," said the 34-year-old actor.

Further, he expressed that Pankaj is very fond of Alia and Sanah Kapoor shares a girly bond with the 'Highway' actress.

The 'Haider' actor feels fortunate to have had the chance to act with Alia in 'Shaandaar' and expressed that the couple will be again seen together in Abhishek Choubey's 'Udta Punjab.'

' Shaandaar' is a romantic-fairytale based on a destination wedding.

The flick is directed by Vikas Behl and is set to release on October 22.
