Four militants killed in Jammu & Kashmir
Jammu, Nov 28: Four ultras, including district commander of Hizbul Mujahideen Pir Panjal Regiment, were killed and two civilians injured in separate militancy-related incidents in Poonch, Udhampur and Doda districts in Jammu division, official sources said here today.

Army troops, on spotting a group of militants crossing
Poonch river in wee hours today, challenged them and in
subsequent encounter shot dead three of them at Domail- the
confluence of Poonch river and Betar Nullah.
The slain militants, who were trying to exfiltrate, have been identified as Panch Sher Ali, the district commander of Hizbul Mujahideen Pir Panjal Regiment and his associates Saifullah and Nasir Hussain.
Ali and Saifullah hailed from Turkhail area of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), while Hussain, a local was a resident of Painch village in Poonch district, they said. The recoveries from the slain militants included two AK-5 rifles along with its six magazines and some rounds, four hand grenades, one damaged wireless set, some Indian currency and sensitive documents, the sources said, adding that search was on in the area to track down some more of their associates.
