New Delhi: Qandeel Baloch who was in the news recently for her bold social media outing, has been reportedly killed by her brother named Wasim last night.

According to reports, the starlet was strangled to death at her house in Multan in Punjab province. While the actual reason behind the murder is yet to be known, This has been reported to be the latest case of 'honour killing' in the country. 


According to a PTI report, district police chied Azhar Akram was quoted as saying, "She was suffocated to death by strangulation. It seems to be a case of honour killing but we are investigating it." 


This comes on the heels of the shocking revelations about Baloch's three marriages. She is originally known by the name Fouzia Aneem.


Qandeel was also in news for posing with Mufti who later lost his job in the religious body for the same.


Baloch had also written to the interior minister, the director general of the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) and the senior superintendent of Islamabad asking them to provide security to her, Dawn reported.
