Bangalore, July 23: Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna today reacted "coldly" to the on-going hectic developments in the Janata Parivar camps which has been making unity moves apprehending early elections, saying "congress is ready to face any contingency". When reporters repeatedly posed questions on what impact the unity moves being rushed through by Janata Parivar leaders would have on Congress, he spiked them commenting "these are all on-going things. You (scribes) better elicit views on development programmes of the government". Krishna indicated that he was not concerned about the meeting of former prime minister H D Devegowda, who heads Janata Dal (Secular), All India progressive Janata Dal President, S R Bommai and BJP leader Rajashekhara Murthy scheduled for today. Krishna reiterated that the Congress would not go to early assembly polls in the state even in the event of BJP led NDA alliance advancing the Lok Sabha elections and declared "We will go to election as scheduled in Septmeber or October next".
