Mumbai: Filmmaker Subhash Ghai's production house, Mukta Arts, founded on October 24 in 1978, has completed 37 years.

Mukta Arts, named after Ghai's wife, produced its first film "Karz", starring Rishi Kapoor, in 1978. Over the years, Ghai's banner has produced films like "Hero", "Karma", "Khalnayak", "Ram


Lakhan", "Saudagar", "Taal", "Pardes", "Yaadein", "Iqbal", "Joggers Park", and "Aitraz", among others.


"24 October, 1978 Mukta started with 'KARZ' and Tom we are celebrating 37 years of excellence of Mukta Arts with new journey ahead with new ventures," Ghai, 70, posted on Facebook.


"And we thank all our well wishers, friends being there with us in all our highs and low. March is on," he added.
