Mutual funds outperformed market indices: Kurian
Chennai, Sept 20: The Indian mutual fund industry has outperformed the market indices at least by two to three per cent in the last five year period, A P Kurian, chairman, Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI), said today.

Speaking at a seminar on mutual funds here today he said this was one of the findings of a study undertaken by crisil on behalf of AMFI.
The crisil report received yesterday would be published very soon, he said.
T P Raman, representing Sundaram AMC, in his address said that distribution holds the key in mutual funds industry adding that distribution cost was expected to come down in the coming years.
