New Delhi: There was a time when our Indian beauties would rule internationally by winning several beauty pageants. Now, it has been some time since we got home a world title. However, good news has poured in—India's very own Thakur Anoop Singh has won Mr World Bodybuilding title.

According to DNA.com, Singh was last seen as 'Dhritarashtra' in Mahabharata. The proud winner took to Twitter and shared his pictures. As per the report, Singh even has a pilot's license. However, after he left the aviation industry in 2008, he took turn to bodybuilding competitions and that's how Dhritarashtra's role landed in his kitty.


Singh came third in the Mr Asia event recently. The event in Bangkok saw 47 nations where Singh won gold in the "fitness physique" category of the seventh WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Championships.


India won 11 medals in Thailand, reportedly.
