Chandigarh, May 24: Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh today said he will join the English county side Lancashire next month as his finger injury had almost healed up. "The special exercises recommended by a South African specialist have helped much in the healing process and my finger looks fine now," the 22-year-old bowler from Jalandhar said.
Though he was supposed to join the county in April-end, an injury to his index finger delayed his departure for England. The off-spinner said he would leave for Lancashire next month and play till the end of season in September. He added that he is looking forward to bowling on the bouncy tracks of England.
Harbhajan had consulted Indian team physiotherapist Andrew Leipus and a South African specialist during his visit to Johannesburg recently. "The specialist recommended him some exercises which have benefitted him immensely," Harbhajan's cousin Gurpreet Singh said. Bureau Report
