This is what Kate Middleton will pack in her suitcase for India trip!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit India on April 10, 2016.
New Delhi: The Royals are set to visit our country and the neighbouring Bhutan, amidst much pomp and aplomb. Come April 10, and we shall welcome the Duke and Duchess to India in a grand way. The Royal couple will be on a six-day tour to India and Bhutan, where they will have a packed schedule of meeting children from NGOs, slum visit, hiking, Bollywood gala night to paying a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal.
Now, we all know how the Duchess of Cambridge is ten-on-ten when it comes to her dressing style. So, surely she knows that all the eyes will be on what the Duchess is wearing? According to The Telegraph, Kate Middleton is likely to pack as many as 12-15 outfits, besides putting dresses and evening gowns, separately. While hiking remains in their itinerary, so the Duchess will also have a pair of hiking boots in her suitcase to India and Bhutan.
The Telegraph reports that a rehearsal trip by her team has already been made to India and Bhutan, where her private secretary Rebecca Deacon took a note of what kind of clothes would suit the location.
"She is in charge of it herself and takes an interest in paying tribute to the host country with nods to their culture and local style on at least a few of the engagements," a royal source told The Telegraph.
Interestingly, before the announcement about the Royals visiting India was made, Kate was spotted in a dress by Indian designer Saloni Lodha for a function in London. May be the Duchess will again go for Saloni's designs during her trip.
Report suggests that the Duchess' personal assistant, Natasha Archer, her hairdresser Amanda Cook Tucker will also accompany her.
