Fatehabad (Haryana), Apr 15: Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) president and Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala today said his party will go it alone in the May 21 bypoll to the constituency. All round development of the state would be the main issue in the poll for which the INLD would not tie up with any party, he told reporters here.
Asked about the BJP, its NDA partner, Chautala said we will have no tie up with the BJP either as "it is no use tying up with a weak party".
On the candidate for the bypolls, which was necessitated following the death of INLD legislator Leela Krishan, the INLD chief said, "We will ask the people of the constituency," adding the name of the candidate would be decided before the withdrawal of nominations. Bureau Report
