London, Oct 28: Willi Weber is the manager of Michael and Ralf Schumacher. Michael of course, is the one who gets most of the attention, winning more championship titles and Grand Prix races than any other driver in the history of Formula One.
Even if this habit of winning seems to be stronger than anything, Ralf Schumacher has been successful as well, winning six Grands Prix, including two this season.
Ralf's partnership with BMW Williams is more promising than ever, especially after looking at how competitive the team was after mid- season in 2003. For these reasons, Willi Weber believes that the next world champion will be Schumacher... but this time Ralf, not Michael !
“Ralf will be the next World Champion,” says Weber on BMW Motorsport's web site. “The BMW Williams F1 Team has made a major step this year.”
Weber is even looking further ahead, hoping to renew Ralf's contract with BMW Williams. The deal was almost completed but an unexpected event prevented the materialisation of the transaction.

“The contract might have been signed in Japan, but Frank Williams was ill and hadn’t travelled to Suzuka," mentioned Weber. "But there is no need for a hurry as the contract is running until the end of the 2004 season. One thing’s for certain: When Ralf has won two or three championships with the BMW Williams F1 Team – and I’m convinced that he will do so – he will have the chance of choosing the team he will be racing for in the future.”
