Islamabad, Sept 21: Pakistan foreign office has denied reports that the present visit of President Pervez Musharraf to New York and Canada and the forthcoming visit of Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali later this month would cost Rs 60 million. Its spokesman has termed as misleading a news story that the visits of Musharraf and Jamali would costs the exchequer Rs 60 million as their delegations would be the largest in Pakistan's history. Clarifying, the spokesman in a statement stated that the presidential delegation to New York to take part in the UN General Assembly meet followed by Canada includes ministers for information and foreign affairs, consists of limited personal and security staff of the President and members of official media team. While Musharraf left early this morning for New York, Jamali was scheduled to leave for Washington on September 28. Bureau Report
