New Delhi, Sept 08: Team Amway put up a splendid performance to win the Daksh Prayas Golf Tournament with a winning tally of 49 team stableford points at the Classic Golf Resort here yesterday.
While William Pickney and Prithviraj Bijlani took Amway team to the top spot, the team of Neeraj Wadhera and Arun Khanna finished runners-up with 47 points in the charity match.
The tournament was played on a two-man better ball stableford system, where the better score between the two partners on each hole was taken into consideration in totaling the 18-hole team aggregate.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by leading film actress Raveena Tandon while another cine star Suresh Oberoi and legendary Indian cricketer and brand ambassador of Prayas, Kapil Dev also graced the occasion. The event was managed by the Delhi based Tiger Sports Marketing.



In the individual stableford category, former Delhi Police Chief Ajai Raj Sharma emerged triumphant with 42 points. Vivek Raj Kurkaria was the individual stableford runner-up with 41 points.



Navina Punj was the champion in the ladies individual stableford category with 30 points.



In a special contest titled 'Kapil Closest to the Pin' held where Kapil Dev played the fifth hole with every four-ball, the team of Pradeep Loyal of Classic Golf Resort, Kapil Kaul, Anil Rajput and Atul Sodhi emerged triumphant.
