Vivek has enticed the audience by starring in half-a-dozen film, dating back to the early 2000s.


The actor is also known for his philanthropic work and has been associated with the less privileged for years now.


In 2002, his performance in his debut film 'Company' won him Filmfare awards  for Best Male Debut and Best Supporting Actor.


In 2011, Vivek produced Watch Indian Circus which went on to win the Audience Choice Award for Best Film from among 3000 films worldwide in the 16th Busan Film festival.


Post 'Saathiya' Oberoi will be teaming up with the YRF banner for 'Bank Chor'  after a hiatus of 12 years, with Ritesih Deshmukh and Rhea Chakraborty.



Very few of us will know that Vivek also received the Red and White Bravery Award in 2006 because of his laudable effort for rebuilding a village which was worse hit by the Tsunami 



The Yashodhara Oberoi Foundation (YOF) is another initiative which is run by the Oberoi family.


In the personal arena, Vivek is happily married to Priyanka Alva since 2010 and is blessed with two kids.


His short-lived romance with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had been the point of focus for a long time.
