Amritsar, Oct 25: Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien visited the Golden Temple here today. The visiting premier got a rousing welcome from Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak committee President Prakash Singh Badal and Secretary Manjit Singh. He remained inside the shrine for an hour. SGPC President G S Tohra was not present due to ill health.
