Margao, Sept 13: Substitute Kishore Palkar's injury time goal guided Fransa Football Club to a narrow 2-1 win over a spirited Cabral Sports Club in Videocon GFA professional league, played at Nehru stadium here today. Fransa, a disjointed lot at first, managed to take the lead in the 55th minute through a gem of a goal by Brazilian Ivan Fiel da Silva, who collected a long lob from the middle, 15 yards from the top of the box, dodged past a defender before shooting the ball over the outstretched hands of keeper Shibu Shanmughan to find the far end of the net.
Cabral, who had the upper hand until the goal, restored parity in the 87th minute through a penalty by Jerose Oliveira after Remedios Barretto handled the ball inside the box.
But Fransa fought back in the injury time and scored the winning goal through substitute Kishore Palkar's header after he was set by substitute Arjinder Singh.
