ONGC employee`s body recovered
Mumbai, Aug 21: The body of ONGC employee r m Murthy, who was on board the MI-172 helicopter that crashed in the Arabian Sea on August 11, was found today 35 km off Mumbai coast, taking the toll in the mishap to 26 even as the search for the missing co-pilot of the ill-fated chopper is on.

the Arabian Sea on August 11, was found today 35 km off Mumbai
coast, taking the toll in the mishap to 26 even as the search
for the missing co-pilot of the ill-fated chopper is on.
"Murthy's body was located near Neelam VIII rig at around
10 am in a decomposed state," an ONGC spokesperson said here
today.
The body would be flown to the ONGC helibase later during
the day, she said.
The air surveillance for Mesco aviation's co-pilot Capt D K Mittal, who also went missing after the crash, is on, she said.
The MI-172 helicopter of Mesco aviation, carrying mostly ONGC employees, had crashed into the sea.
Meanwhile, the wreckage, which was lifted out of the sea bed three days after the crash, was brought to the helibase here last evening, she added.
