Kolkata, June 08: Trinamool Congress (TC) today set June 10 as the deadline for the ruling Left Front in West Bengal to respond to its demands, failing which the party would announce fresh course of action on June 11. TC chief Mamata Banerjee, before leaving for Delhi to attend a National Democratic Alliance meeting, said here that her party has already expressed willingness to hold talks with chief minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee between June 8 and 10 on its demands. “As a matter of courtesy we will wait for the Chief Minister to respond to it. Bhattacharjee should let us know when he wants to hold talks. However, if nothing was done by the state government we will announce our next course of action on June 11,” she said. TC had observed a state-wide bandh yesterday protesting over, among other things, the LF government's failure to publish a list of people below poverty line, farmers not getting paddy support price, hike in electricity charge etc. Bureau Report
