New Delhi, Sept 22: Sports Minister Vikram Verma today hailed achievement of Indian golfers Digvijay Singh and Gourav Ghei, who qualified for the World Cup after securing the second place in the Nation`s Cup in Singapore. "Digvijay Singh and Gaurav Ghei may continue to achieve even greater heights and be able to win forthcoming World Cup," Verma said in a message here.
Minister of State for Sports Vijay Goel also sent his best wishes to the golfers. Ghei and Singh have secured India`s first World Cup appearance since 1997. The prestigious event will be held at Kiawah Island, United States in November. Bureau Report
