New Delhi, Aug 22: IBM Global Services, the IT services arm of IBM, is eyeing new business areas like BPO, human capital solutions, a senior company official said here. "In India, our strategy is going to be services-led, primarily. With the rise in BPO call centres business in India, human capital solutions is assuming increasing significance and offers a major area of growth", Asish Kumar, country executive, IBM Global Services, said today in a seminar.

He claimed that IBM Business Consulting Services has deployed the largest number of PeopleSoft implementation in India so far.
E-business integration is also another key areas for the company, he said, adding strategic outsourcing is the fastest growing segment in the Indian IT market and IBM expects to grow in this space at above industry growth rate.

"Recent deals for strategic outsourcing include Visteon, Fluor Daniels, JPMC," Kumar said and added IBM Global Services has signed during the current year 12-15 large outsourcing deals.
In integrated technology services, Kumar said wireless network, IP based VPN are the target areas for IBM Global Services. Bureau Report
