BJP leader Nityanand Roy surrenders
Patna, July 22: Senior BJP leader and MLA Nityanand Roy surrendered before a Vaishali court and was remanded to judicial custody in connection with the killing of a RJD MLC`s brothers in 1999.

Roy surrendered before a Vaishali court and was remanded to
judicial custody in connection with the killing of a RJD MLC's
brothers in 1999.
Nityanand gave himself up before the court of Chief
Judicial Magistrate A K Sharan at Hajipur in Vaishali district
yesterday, police sources said here today.
Sharan remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days in
connection with the killing of RJD MLC Vishnudeo Roy's
brothers Ram Devan Roy and Dilip Roy in 1999.
Nityanand, a BJP MLA, from Hajipur will be lodged in Vaishali divisional jail, police sources added. Earlier former Bihar minister and senior RJD leader Rajendra Roy had last month surrendered before police in this case during attachment of his property.
