Mumbai, June 17: Two Chhota Rajan gangsters were shot dead by police in an encounter at Veera Desai Road in suburban Andheri tonight. Jayparkash Singh and Prakash Konda, both aged 25, were wanted in several cases of robbery, murder and extortion, police said. On a tip-off that the duo would visit Veera Desai Road to murder a film financier, police laid a trap near Bellevue Hospital. On spotting the gangsters, police asked them to surrender but they fired at the cops who retaliated killing them.
Both were rushed to Cooper Hospital where they were declared dead before admission. Bureau Report
