New Delhi, Dec 01: At least six people were injured and a police vehicle was damaged as BJP and Congress supporters clashed in a South Delhi area today, police sources said. The supporters of the rival parties exchanged blows and used batons against each other at around noon in Bhatti village of Mehrauli over a petty issue related to polling, they said.

At least six people were injured in the incident, they said.

As police stepped in to intervene, the mob attacked a Police Control Room (PCR) van damaging it, they said.
Additional police personnel were rushed to the scene of the incident and the situation was brought under control.
