Kolkata, Aug 17: VHP international general secretary Praveen Togadia today came down heavily on RJD chief Laloo Prasad Yadav and Bihar government for not allowing him to hoist National Flag on the Independence Day and vowed to chalk out a "strategy" to protest "humiliation" meted out to him.
"Apart from moving the Supreme Court for violation of right of movement and right to speak, we will chalk out a detailed strategy to protest anti-democratic, anti-national and unethical step taken by Bihar government," Togadia, who was in the city to participate in a programme to celebrate 125th birth anniversary of "Sri Maa", the great French disciple of Aurobindo Ghosh, told reporters.
He said that the ban order on him and Acharya Giriraj Kishore to enter Bihar was for six months and in this period the VHP would organise a massive agitational programme.
"We are going to meet tomorrow and finalise the detailed agitational programme against the humiliation," Togadia said, adding that Bihar government's decision was to "appease the Muslim community". "Patna's district magistrate had issued the orders under instructions of Laloo Yadav," he alleged.
"After his lathi rally, I was under the impression that Laloo has become strong, but it appears after meeting (Pakistan President Pervez) musharraf, he is afraid of me and that is why he did not allow me to enter Bihar and hoist National Flag on Independence Day in a school," Togadia said.
"Bihar government accused that I wanted to teach secret lessons to VHP members. Laloo should be aware that I am under Z category security and it is impossible for me even to meet my wife secretly," he said.
