After watching the Indians getting into the driver's seat on the second day of the first test against New Zealand here, S K Nair said the Indian team would be picked on October 20 at Mohali, the venue for the final test of the two-match series.
New Zealand and World Cup finalists India and Australia will clash in the tri-series from October 23 to November 18.
Nair said the team for the second test would be chosen here.
"We will also be naming the squad for the Australian tour later this year on November 21 or 22. Indians are scheduled to play in four tests and a triangular one-day series invloving Zimbabwe as the third team," Nair said.
