Mumbai, Dec 11: The Metropolitan Magistrate on Nov 18 fixed today for framing of charges against Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the hit-and-run case of September 28, last year.
Defence advocate Dipesh Mehta told the court that since the Supreme Court had adjourned the hearing till December 2, on the Maharashtra government`s Special Leave Petition (SLP) challenging a Bombay High Court judgement, which dropped the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder (under IPC Section 304 Part II) against Salman Khan, the matter should be kept after the Supreme Court`s ruling for framing charges.
