Britain, July 04: A star-studded 100m tops the bill at Fridays' IAAF Golden League meeting in Paris.
British sprinters Dwain Chambers and Mark Lewis-Francis go head to head for the fourth time this season, with Lewis-Francis holding a narrow edge.
But they will also be up against US champion Bernard Williams and former world record holder Maurice Greene in the Stade de France.
And in-form Nigerian Deji Aliu will be the man everyone is trying to beat after his big win in Lausanne.
Greene, who is keen to atone for his Lausanne defeat, believes sparks could fly on the very quick 100 metres track.
"I know I can run fast there," said the defending champion.
"In such a good stadium, we can realise very good things. I am convinced there will be a big show."
At the same event, Commonwealth champion Chris Rawlinson faces a tough task in the 400m.
He will be up against world champion Felix Sanchez, who ran a blistering 47.80sec in Switzerland despite nasty conditions.
Hayley Tullett contests the 3,000m with Olympic 5,000m gold medallist Gabriela Szabo, who is opening her track season.
And Natasha Danvers faces a competitive 400m hurdles race.
