Eight MCC ultras surrender in Bihar
Muzaffarpur (Bihar), Feb 23: Eight hard-core activists of the banned Maoist Communist Centre today surrendered before the district superintendent of police with a large number of firearms and ammunition.

The Muzaffarpur SP, R K Singh, said that the surrendered MCC ultras, wanted in several cases of murder, arms loot and dacoities, laid down their arms and took a vow to return to the mainstream.
Singh said that the ultras surrendered with five rifles, three country-made revolvers and a huge quantity of ammunition.
The SP said that the surrender followed an intensive police campaign against the ultras in the district.
