Bangalore, July 17: The situation in the busy Kalasipalyam area here was peaceful today after overnight violence triggered by the death of a youth which left around 25 persons, including 15 policemen, injured, police said. Police commissioner S Mariswamy told a news agency today that when foot patrolling was on last night, police personnel saw some youths loitering around in the area. On seeing the police, they took to heels. An 18-year-old boy among them ran inside a house and as he attempted to climb staircase in a hurry fell down and died.
