Lucknow, Nov 13: The judicial remand of former Uttar Pradesh Minister Amar Mani Tripathi, facing charges in the Madhumita Shukla murder case, was today extended till November 25 next by a CBI court here. Special Judicial Magistrate (CBI) Digvijay Nath extended Tripathi's judicial remand after hearing the counsels of CBI and the defence. Tripathi was produced before the court after his judicial remand expired today.

The former minister was arrested by CBI on September 2 last after his DNA reportedly matched with that of the foetus of the slain poetess. Bureau Report
