Multan, Oct 18: Police raided a home in a village in central Pakistan, arresting a leader of an outlawed Islamic militant group, a police official said today. Ilyas Ghuman, a senior leader of the outlawed Jaish-e-Mohammed militant group, was captured late yesterday near Sargodha, a city about 300 kilometres north of Multan, police official Ghulam Rasool said. He gave no other details. Jaish-e-Mohammed is one of five groups outlawed by President Pervez Musharraf in January 2002 to purge the country of extremism and terrorism. Bureau Report
