Ghaziabad, May 08: Criminal turned politician and president of Rashtriya Parivartan Dal D P Yadav today filed a complaint with the Election Commission and the Human Rights Commission against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and his brother Ram Gopal Yadav for ordering a raid at his farm house on May 7. D P Yadav, who is contesting Lok Sabha elections from Sambhal constituency in western Uttar Pradesh alleged that the raid was ordered in revenge by the Chief Minister and requested the Election Commission to deploy extra paramilitary forces to check rigging and booth capturing during elections on May 10.
Police sources disclosed that the raid was conducted in the early hours of May 7 for arresting D P Yadav, wanted in connection with a complaint of intimidation filed by former MLA Rishi Pal Yadav.
Thirty-two persons were arrested and arms recovered during the raid, police sources added.
