Mumbai, Sept 13: Eminent cartoonist, R K Laxman, who was undergoing treatment at breach candy hospital following a paralytic stroke earlier this week, was making satisfactory progress, family sources said here. "He has shown steady improvement and the doctors are happy with his progress", the sources said. "There is good improvement in his hand movement and the physiotherapist treating him is happy over the development", they added. "The date of his discharge from the hospital has not been decided. The doctors will take a decision on the matter tomorrow", the sources said.

The temporary physical setback, however, has not kept the cartoonist in indulging in his passion-- sketching.
"He keeps himself occupied in his hospital bed by drawing out sketches on sheets of paper. In fact, he has been doing so right from day one of his illness," the sources said.
