London, July 15: British Police have strong doubts that a missing 12-year-old British girl, believed to have eloped to France with a former US Marine, had returned to Britain, an official said today. "We have been told by Interpol that an 'S Pennington' did leave Charles de Gaulle Airport" in Paris, Superintendent Peter Mason said. "I am very, very dubious whether that is our Shevaun." French authorities had earlier said Shevaun Pennington -- who is said to have left with Toby Studabaker, whom she met on the internet -- had flown back to northern England from the Paris airport within hours of arriving on Saturday.
