New Delhi, Sept 04: Former Sports Minister S S Dhinsa today reassured of government's support to hockey star Jugraj Singh who is undergoing treatment in a Ludhiana hospital for multiple fractures sustained in a car crash. Expressing his concern over Jugraj's injury, Dhindsa, also the Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister, wished the youngster a speedy recovery. "I will visit him (Jugraj) soon and I want to reassure Jugraj's family that if needed the best treatment would be made available from anywhere," he said.
The 20-year-old Jugraj suffered multiple fractures in a car accident on Tuesday night and doctors have ruled him out of hockey for at least three months. Yesterday Minister of State for Sports Vijay Goel had announced that the sports ministry will foot the medical expenses of Jugraj. Bureau Report
