The International Cricket Council (ICC) has recruited five illustrious former test players to form its new panel of full-time test and one-day international match referees. Former West Indies captain Clive Lloyd, South African Mike Procter, Sri Lanka's Ranjan Madugalle, Wasim Raja of Pakistan, and Indian Gundappa Viswanath will make up the panel.

"This is an outstanding group of former internationals who are respected for their achievements throughout the cricket world," ICC Chief Executive Officer Malcolm Speed said.
Lloyd, who led one of the most successful West Indies test sides of all time in the 1980s, was a match referee between 1992 and 1996 before managing the national team for three years until 1999. Bureau Report
