London: Victoria Beckham, who faced a lot of outrage for using skinny models to walk the ramp for her at New York Fashion Week, has now come up clarifying that she always makes sure model, who get hired to walk, are "healthy" not "gaunt".

The leading fashion designer and footballer David Beckham's wife stated that her models are young, thin, but that doesn't mean they're ill, the Daily Express reported.


The former Spice Girl star came under fire on social media for her Spring/Summer 2016 show in September, when some people slammed that the girls in her show looked "gaunt" and looked like it was a "parade of skeletons."


Notably, five years back she banned super thin models from her shows and made sure she will only cast those who had a healthy and realistic appearance in order to promote a positive body image to impressionable young teenagers.
