London, July 24: A family of buzzards has turned a popular country walk in the English midlands into a no-go area, reported a newspaper today. At least four people have been attacked by the birds with ''military precision'' near Kerswell Green in Worcestershire.
Local rambler Dick Bridges, 69, told the newspaper he was attacked from behind. ''I felt a great whack on the top of my head and there was a lot of blood,'' he said.
Valerie Osbourne from the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) said the buzzards were likely to be aggressive because they were protecting their offspring.
The local county council put up signs in the area warning ramblers of the birds, and locals said that walks in the area are now virtually impossible. Bureau Report
