Commandos of the army kept vigil on the outer perimeters of the Parliament House Friday despite criticism in some quarters about requisitioning army units in the wake of Thursday’s terrorist attack. Commandos in camouflaged head gears and holding SLRs took positions around the outer wall of the Parliament House with emergency equipment to tackle any kind of situation that was witnessed Thursday.
Army trucks were also stationed nearby.
Lok Sabha sources said that the army was never called inside parliament premises Thursday and was not present inside the complex.

There has been criticism in some quarters about calling in army to protect parliament and other key buildings in the wake of the attack. Bureau Report
