Thiruvananthapuram, June 25: CPI member in the Kerala Assembly Binoy Viswam today gave a notice of breach of privilege against Chief Minister A K Antony for allegedly misleading the assembly on the tribal land issue. In his notice, Viswam said the Chief Minister had yesterday stated in the house that the Centre had cleared 25,000 acres of forest land for distribution among landless tribals.

He contended that union environment ministry sources had said that no such assurance had been given to the state. The notice was filed before assembly speaker Vakkom Purushothaman.
