Kolkata, Oct 26: Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly today refused to comment on inclusion of Parthiv Patel as a specialist wicketkeeper in the team in the first two one-dayers of the on-going tri-Series saying that stand-in Captain Rahul Dravid would be able to handle the query better.
"This question should be put to Dravid. He is now the Captain," Ganguly told reporters at the city nursing home, before being discharged. Owing to Ganguly's clear preference for a wicket-keeper batsman in one-dayers, Dravid had been donning big gloves for some time. He also did the duty behind stumps in the world cup tournament in South Africa early this year. However, after Ganguly was ruled out of the first two matches of the ongoing tri-series because of the abscess on his left thigh, the Indian think- tank decided to include Patel as a specialist wicket-keeper in the playing eleven for matches on October 23 and today.
