Patna, Dec 07: India has entered the golden age of growth and several multi-nationals are awaiting to set up their units in the country, Chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes P L Singh said here today.

growth and several multi-nationals are awaiting to set up
their units in the country, Chairman of Central Board of
Direct Taxes P L Singh said here today.
Speaking on factorising role of direct taxes for
survival/growth of industries in Bihar, Singh said India had a
very bright future as a number of measures had been initiated
for the overall development of the country. Multinational
companies were also showing interest in investing in the
country, he said.
He said 11 km of national highway were being added everyday. Road and power were key-factors for the development of the nation.
He exhorted income tax payers to pay taxes in right earnest to make the government invest in infratructure development.
