Out of a total of 73, thirty-seven witnesses, including Zahira, had turned hostile during the trial leading to the acquittal of all the 21 accused. Twelve persons were burnt to death when a frenzied mob torched the Bakery on March 1 last year in the aftermath of Godhra train carnage.
