Dehra Dun, May 24: Uttaranchal's first private university would come up in the state capital from the coming academic session. The university, christened Himgiri Nabh Vishwavidyalaya, is being set up by the Talim Research Foundation of Ahmedabad, M Ramchandran, principal secretary, technical education told reporters here today. He said the university would set up 13 centres of education in all the 13 districts of the hill state within a period of three years where students would get employment-oriented education through satellite facilities. The state government has already issued an ordinance in this regard, he added.
