Chennai, May 30: BJP president Venkaiah Naidu today said he saw no threat to the Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh in view of the withdrawal of support by Rashtriya Lok Dal legislators in that state.
"There is no threat to the Mayawati government and we have enough numbers," he told reporters at Meenambakkam airport on his arrival here late this evening to participate in a function in the city tomorrow.
"There is no threat to her government because of the Singhs (Mulayam Singh Yadav and Ajit Singh) seeking the support of the Congress to topple Mayawati's government," he said when reporters drew his attention to the withdrawal of support by the RLD to the coalition.
Naidu said people like Mulayam Singh, Amar Singh, Ajit Singh and Kalyan Singh, had now joined together. "They want to join the Congress also. They had bitter experience earlier and they will have the same experience in future also and I leave it to them."
