Bhopal, Nov 08: With barely three weeks left for the
assembly polls, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh
today asked state Congress leaders not to tour his Raghogarh
constituency and instead concentrate in their own areas for
campaigning.
"Congress leaders should help other party candidates in
their campaign by remaining in their respective areas of
influence," Singh said in a statement.
Thanking leaders eager to participate in electioneering in Raghogarh, the Chief Minsiter said "Congress workers in my constituency are actively campaigning for me. People in the area are also taking keen interest in the entire process to ensure my victory at the hustings."
Singh said he was moved by the love and affection shown by his party colleagues but they should utilise their energy and influence for the victory of other Congress nominees. Bureau Report
